Gibraltar Is Very Proud
I feel very proud. Who said that a united country could not exist? This Thursday Gibraltar has demonstrated to the world that we are a nation that is united in the good and in the bad. Main Street was full, full of people proudly waving our country's flag, all the pavements were full, there was no room for anyone else.
There was a very good atmosphere in the Piazza, everyone had smiles on their faces, everyone was happy and proud. We started to sing songs that represent our country, like 'Llévame Donde Nací' and the 'Gibraltar National Anthem'.
Then, the most waited moment arrived, 'Kaiane Aldorino' Miss World 2009 came out and all the people who were there went wild with happiness.
This has been a historic event, according to 'GBC' there were around twenty eight thousand people on the streets, that is nearly the whole population of Gibraltar.

Gibraltar Está Muy Orgulloso
Qué orgulloso me siento. ¿Quién dice que no puede existir un país unido? Este jueves Gibraltar ha demostrado al mundo que somos un nación que está unida en lo bueno y en lo malo. La Calle Real estaba a reventar, toda llena de gente ondeando orgullosamente nuestra bandera, todas las aceras estaban llenas, no cabía nadie más.
En la Piazza había un buen ambiente, todo el mundo estaba sonriendo, todo el mundo estaba contento y orgulloso. Empezamos a cantar canciones que representan a nuestro país, como el 'Llévame Donde Nací' y el 'Himno Nacional de Gibraltar'.
Después llegó el momento más ansiado, salió 'Kaiane Aldorino' Miss Mundo 2009 y toda la gente que estaba allí se puso loca de felicidad.
Esto ha sido un evento histórico, según 'GBC' habían alrededor de veintiocho mil personas en la calle, eso es casi toda la población de Gibraltar.
